Online Banking FAQ's

What types of accounts can I access through Online Banking?

You can access all your PBC accounts, except for credit card accounts.

Is there a fee for using PBC Online Banking or Mobile Banking?

Mobile and Online Banking is a free service for PBC customers.

I typed my username and password correctly, but it did not log me into Online Banking.

You must log in to Online Banking at least once every 180 days for security purposes, or your access will be denied. If this happens, you can simply re-enroll as a new user by clicking the First Time User on the Online Banking Login at the top of the page.

What Browser should I use to access Online Banking?

We require that you use an Internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption. Make sure your Browser has all recent updates and security patches.

Mortgage FAQ's

How do I prequalify for a mortgage?

Click Apply Now on the Mortgage page and fill out the information requested to get prequalified.

Can I get prequalified before I find my home?

Yes, this is a good idea before you begin looking so you know how much home you can afford.

Why is my credit score so important?

An excellent credit score, say over 760, could lower your interest rate and save you money on your mortgage. A poor score of, say, under 650 could cost a higher interest rate.

What is PMI?

You will need Private Mortgage Insurance if you use a conventional non-government mortgage and do not have a 20% down payment. To avoid PMI, try to come up with a 20% down payment.
